Ekadashi 2024 November. There are two ekadashi fasting in a month, one during shukla paksha and another during krishna paksha. Ekadashi fasting is observed on every 11 th tithi in hindu calendar.

Utpanna ekadashi or ‘uttpatti ekadashi’ as it also known, is observed on the ‘ekadashi’ (11th day) of the krishna paksha (the waning phase of moon) during the ‘margashirsh’ month of the hindu calendar. Devotees worship lord vishnu and observe fast on this auspicious day.
